LONDON -- Plexus Holdings has agreed to supply its POS-GRIP HP/HT wellhead system to BG Egypt for use on the Notus exploration well.
Under the terms of the £550,000 ($888,223) contract, Plexus will provide its 15,000-psi (1,034-bar) wellhead system on a rig equipped with an 18 ¾” single stack BOP.
In April, BG Egypt also contracted a POS-GRIP 10,000 psi wellhead system with mudline suspension equipment for the Zonda well.
Plexus has previously worked in this region for BP Egypt, GDF SUEZ Egypt, and Shell Egypt.
