HOUSTON – BHP Billiton Petroleum Pty Ltd has awarded Atwood Oceanics Inc. a one-well contract for the Atwood Eagle to drill approximately 45 days in 600 ft (183 m) of water. This extends the rig’s commitments to the end of next January.
