HOUSTON – The Vicksburg jackup of Atwood Oceanics Inc. has agreed to a contract extension with Nucoastal (Thailand) Ltd. The six-month contract has a six-month extension clause that must be exercised by Aug. 31, 2011. The extension and option both are at $90,000/day.
