OSLO, Norway – Eni Norge has approval to use the semisub Scarabeo 5 on its Marulk field development in the Norwegian Sea.
The consent, issued by Petroleum Safety Authority Norway, covers drilling of pilot well 6507/2-N-2 H, production well 6507/2-N-2 AH, and production well 6507/2N-4 H in the Nordland II area.
All will be drilled in production license 122, in a water depth of around 367 m (1,204 ft).
The program should start in September and continue for 196 days.
