ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands – Hercules Offshore has contracted Fairstar Heavy Transport for a jackup relocation.
Fairstar’s semisubmersible vessel Fjell will transport the Hercules 185 jackup from Port Gentil, Gabon, to either Pascagoula, Mississippi, or Bahrain, with load-up expected Oct. 5.
Hercules will determine the final destination following completion of this operation. The contract is valued at just under $ 3 million.
