STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has commissioned Proserv to supply five wellhead hydraulic power units (HPUs) for the Gullfaks oil and gas field in the North Sea, which is undergoing an extensive topsides upgrade program.
Proserv’s teams in Stavanger will undertake design, manufacture, and supply of the equipment – all five are expected to be delivered by 2017.
The company is also supplyingAibel with an HPU and three chemical injection panels for the drilling platform for Statoil’s Johan Sverdrup project.
