Mubadala adds more wells at Manora offshore Thailand
The jackup Atwood Orca has started a new phase of development drilling for Mubadala Petroleum on the Manora oil field in the Gulf of Thailand.
MNA-15 and MNA-16 wells will be drilled to TDs of respectively 2,571 m (8,435 ft) and 2,824 m (9,265 ft) measured depth and will be completed with electric submersible pumps.
Drilling and completion should take around 17 days for each well, assuming no technical issues. They should increase production from the field.
Immediately after these wells, Mubadala plans an exploration well in the same concession, although in this case Tap has not yet confirmed its participation.
