PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad — Drilling is underway on the first well for bp Trinidad and Tobago’s (bpTT) Cypre subsea gas development.

Seven wells will be connected to the Juniper platform offshore Trinidad’s southeast coast. 

Cypre fits bpTT’s strategy of maximizing production from existing infrastructure. First gas should follow in 2025.
