STAVANGER, Norway — Equinor has awarded Expro a four-year frame agreement to deliver well testing services for the operator’s facilities in Norway across the Barents, Norwegian and North Seas.
Expro will assign its multi-disciplined local team in Stavanger to manage the program, supported by its Fluids center in Haugesund.
The contract, which has options for three two-year extensions, covers provision of well flow management and production optimization services to support Equinor’s completion, intervention, production and abandonment operations.
For hydraulic intervention well work, Expro will deploy its CoilHose light well circulation system. A large part of the contract is said to be linked to a demonstrable commitment to a low-carbon plan.
