ABU DHABI, UAE — Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) has awarded ADNOC Drilling a two-year, $1.53 billion contract to support expansion of its offshore production operations.
ADNOC Offshore awarded the contract, which covers the provision of 12 jackup rigs, two island rigs and associated integrated drilling services.
The state-owned company aims to grow its oil production capacity to 5 MMbbl/d by 2030 and achieve gas self-sufficiency for the UAE.
ADNOC Drilling has provided integrated drilling services to ADNOC Offshore since 2019.
