    WELLINGTON, New Zealand — Beach Energy and its partners plan a potential development drilling program on the Kupe Field offshore New Zealand.

    According to New Zealand Oil & Gas, Kupe is producing at maximum field capacity (currently limited by well deliverability) due to a strong demand for gas.

    The partners are assessing opportunities to increase production, including drilling the KS-9 infill/development well in 2024. They are targeting final investment decision early next year.
