Black Sea gas development work nearing completion

KOKSTAD, Norway — Odfjell Technology is close to completing work on a three-year drilling program offshore Romania for Black Sea Oil & Gas (BSOG).
The scope included delivery of tubular running, fishing and rental service.
The focus of this contract was BSOG’s Midia Gas Development project, comprising offshore and onshore infrastructure related to the Ana and Doina fields.
In response to COVID-19, Odfjell implemented rotational schedules for its workforce and scaled up its engineering team to ensure fulfilment of the project deadlines.
Work on the project, supported by Odfjell Technology Romania in Ploiesti, should finish this summer.
