Petrobras takes two Seadrill drillships on long-term contracts

Offshore staff

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Petrobras has contracted two rigs from Seadrill for three years of work on the Búzios field in the presalt Santos basin offshore Brazil.

Both the West Carina and West Tellus are due to start their programs in September 2022.

Estimated value of the assignment is around $549 million, including mobilization and other services.
