    Stena rig to drill for ExxonMobil offshore eastern Canada

    ABERDEEN, UK – ExxonMobil Canada Ltd. has awarded the drillship Stena Forth a one-well contract.

    The operations are due to start in 2H 2022.

    The Stena Forth will mobilize from the Eastern Mediterranean to Canada after an agreement was reached to accommodate this exploration well for ExxonMobil within the drillship’s contractual backlog.

    The rig is expected to return to the Eastern Mediterranean after completing operations in Canada.
