Valaris reactivating floater for offshore Angola contract

HAMILTON, Bermuda – ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Exploration Angola has awarded the drillship VALARIS DS-9 a two-year contract.
The rig is currently preservation stacked in the Canary Islands. It will be reactivated and then mobilize to Angola.
The contract is expected to start in June 2022.
