IPC upgrading downhole pumps at Bertam offshore Malaysia

VANCOUVER, Canada – International Petroleum Corp. plans to drill the A15 side track well at the Bertam field offshore Peninsular Malaysia during 4Q, the company revealed in its latest results statement.
It also plans to use the rig to upgrade the size of three electrical submersible pumps in producing wells to allow for operation at higher liquid rates, and for other well maintenance tasks.
