    DUBAI, UAE – Saudi Aramco has awarded Shelf Drilling a 10-year contract extension for the jackup High Island IX, in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract in the Arabian Gulf.

    The agreed day rate allows for annual rate adjustments based on the previous 12-month average Brent crude oil price.
