    Zenith to assist Diamond Offshore on Sangomar drilling

    Woodside Energy has awarded Zenith Energy a multi-year contract to provide drilling and completion engineering and ad-hoc support services for the Sangomar field development offshore Senegal.

    ABERDEEN, UK – Woodside Energy has awarded Zenith Energy a multi-year contract to provide drilling and completion engineering and ad-hoc support services for the deepwater Sangomar field development offshore Senegal.

    The program comprises drilling and completion of 23 subsea development wells, with Woodside targeting production of ~231 MMbbl of oil resources.

    Diamond Offshore is due to start the campaign in mid-2021, using the drillships Ocean BlackRhino and Ocean BlackHawk.

    Zenith’s teams in the UK and Australia will provide the support.
