Offshore staff
HAMILTON, Bermuda – Three Borr Drilling Ltd. jackups have started contracts offshore Malaysia.
Last month the Gunnlod and the Saga began drilling for PTTEP and the Mist with Roc Oil.
In addition, the jackups Prospector 1 and the Prospector 5 are expected to start operations in the North Sea in 4Q 2020.
The Prospector 1 is the first rig in its fleet to be fitted with a selective catalytic reduction system which is expected to reduce the emissions of nitrogen oxide, carbon oxide, and hydrocarbon by 90-95%. Also, the system is fitted with filters that is expected to reduce particle matter emission by more than 85%.
