    Stena IceMAX to drill for Repsol offshore Mexico

    Repsol has contracted Stena Drilling’s drillship Stena IceMAX to work in block 29 in the Salina basin offshore Mexico.

    ABERDEEN, UK – Repsol has contracted Stena Drilling’s drillship Stena IceMAX to work in block 29 in the Salina basin offshore Mexico.

    Drilling is expected to start in May/June 2021, the company announced via social media.

    Repsol operates block 29 in partnership with Wintershall Dea, PTTEP, and Petronas.
