LONDON – Pharos Energy’s second TGT-H1-15X appraisal/future development well off southern Vietnam has reached total depth.
The well was designed to test the commercial potential of a new deeper Oligocene play discovered in early 2019 beneath the producing TGT field, with estimated potential of 225 MMbbl across the TGT structure.
Pharos added it would continue evaluation of its undrilled Phu Khanh basin blocks 125 and 126 offshore eastern Vietnam, but may defer planned 3D seismic acquisition until 2021.
