LONDON – Valaris plc has issued an update on its offshore drilling rig fleet.
Offshore Nigeria, Shell has exercised a one-year priced option for the VALARIS DS-10. Estimated duration is March 2020 to March 2021
Offshore Australia, Chevron has exercised a one-well priced option for the VALARIS JU-107, with an estimated duration of 30 days from late February 2020 to late March 2020. Jadestone Energy has awarded the jackup a two-well contract, with an estimated duration of 115 days from June 2020 to September 2020.
In the North Sea, Ithaca Energy has awarded the VALARIS JU-101 a three-well contract that is expected to start in March 2020, with an estimated duration of 45 days.
In the US Gulf of Mexico, Walter Oil & Gas has awarded the VALARIS JU-75 a one-well contract. The contract began in late December 2019 and has an estimated duration of 40 days.
