Equinor hands out offshore Norway drilling contracts
STAVANGER, Norway – Equinor has awarded drilling service contracts valued at around NOK2.5 billion ($286 million) in total for new and existing field developments offshore Norway.
On Tuesday, the company signed contracts related to liner hangers, having earlier concluded deals for completion and downhole monitoring services.
“The suppliers are specialists that we have worked with before, and we know what they stand for,” said Geir Tungesvik, senior vice president, Drilling & Well.
All contracts run for three years with two-year extension options.
