Deepwater Horizon: Federal judge blocks US drilling moratorium

NEW ORLEANS -- US District Court Judge Martin Feldman granted a preliminary injunction today blocking the US Department of Interior's moratorium on deepwater drilling. The US Court ruled in favor of Hornbeck Offshore Services vs. US Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, citing the US government has failed to justify the six-month deepwater drilling moratorium.
