Oceaneering appoints COO

Oceaneering International has promoted Benjamin M. Laura from senior vice president (SVP) and chief innovation officer to SVP and COO, effective Jan. 1, 2025.

He joined Oceaneering in 2014 as director of Subsea Services, and has held roles with progressively more responsibility during his tenure. He has served in his current role since 2022.

Prior to his time with Oceaneering, he was VP and managing director for Baker Hughes do Brasil.

Laura holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University and a master's degree in engineering technology management from Oklahoma State University.
