EMERYVILLE, California -- New Logic Research Inc. has hired Joseph Rund as global director, refining and oilfield operations. Rund will be responsible for sales, marketing, and field operations for the company.
"We are happy to have someone of Joe's background and expertise come on board," says New Logic CEO Greg Johnson. "Joe's expertise in the oil production and processing markets will surely prove invaluable as we build on our recent successes in refinery and oilfield water treatment."
Rund was area vice president over the Western US, Western Canada, Asia Pacific, Australia, and SureClean Services group for Baker Petrolite, Inc., a division of Baker Hughes, for 121/2 years and before that an account representative for Nalco Chemical Co.
Rund earned a BS degree from Purdue University in industrial management/industrial engineering. He also has attended Thunderbird University in Glendale, Arizona, in a business leadership program and California Technical Institute on Asian relations.
