CANBERRA, Australia -- The Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), has appointed Dominic Dunne to drive its external communications strategy.

Dunne has joined APPEA's Canberra secretariat in the new role of director external communications.

"We are extremely pleased to have someone of Dominic's caliber on board to assist Australia's oil and gas industry communicate its key messages in what is shaping up to be a watershed year in terms of energy and greenhouse policy" said APPEA CEO Belinda Robinson.
