SAN RAMON, California --Chevron Corp. has named Patricia E. Yarrington as corporate vice president and treasurer, replacing David M. Krattebol, who is retiring from the position after 36 years.
Yarrington, currently corporate VP, policy, government and public affairs, will oversee the company's financing strategies, including the receipt, custody, investment, and disbursement of corporate funds in her new role.
Yarrington joined Chevron in 1980 and assumed her current role in 2002. She is also a member of the board of directors for Chevron Phillips Chemical Co.
In addition, the company announced a series of senior level appointments.
Replacing Yarrington as corporate VP, policy, government and public affairs, is Rhonda I. Zygocki, currently corporate VP, health, environment and safety (HES). In her new capacity, Zygocki will be responsible for corporate policy, government relations, internal and external communications, corporate advertising, and community activities.
Succeeding Zygocki as corporate VP of HES is Charles A. Taylor, currently general manager, asset management, Chevron International Exploration and Production Co. in Lagos, Nigeria. In his new role, Taylor will oversee the company's HES strategic planning and issues management, compliance, auditing, and emergency response.
