Scorpion Offshore co-founders step down

HAMILTON, Bermuda --Scorpion Offshore co-founders Erland Bassoe and Jonathon Fairbanks have retired from the Scorpion board effective July 2.

They will be replaced by Pat Herbert, who will join Scorpion's board of directors effective August 1. Herbert has over 30 years industry experience and currently serves as CEO of JDR Cable Systems Ltd.

Following these changes, the Scorpion board will consist of four independent directors and one inside director.
