PERTH, Australia -- Tap Oil Ltd. has appointed Bob Cassie as new ventures manager.

Cassie brings over 28 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and development with Ampolex Ltd. and Mobil Oil, where he held technical and management roles covering international and Australian exploration and development projects. More recently, Cassie was the Africa manager and exploration manager for Hardman Resources, where he was responsible for the Ugandan exploration program, which resulted in the first discoveries in this new basin.
