Stable Services appoints new technical design engineer

ABERDEEN, UK -- Stable Services has appointed Dave Rodman as operations director. Rodman previous served as regional application engineering manager for Sii, and has received three meritorious awards for engineering innovation.

"Many of the tools in the market-place are over-engineered, causing more problems than they solve, primarily in terms of vibration and damage to other BHA components," says Rodman. "With a well designed tool, many of these can be overcome and we will be aiming to demonstrate to clients the benefits of pre-planned well specific engineered solutions, coupled with our ability to find or manufacture the right product in the right timeframe."
