Occidental Petroleum appoints new CFO

LOS ANGELES-- Occidental Petroleum has appointed Stephen I. Chazen as president and CFO.

Chazen joined Occidental in 1994 as executive VP of corporate development. He was named CFO in 1999. Prior to joining Occidental, Chazen was an MD for Merrill Lynch.
