Offshore staff

NEW ORLEANS -- The Minerals Management Service has appointed Mike Saucier as the new deputy regional supervisor for district operations in the office of field operations for the Gulf of Mexico region.

Saucier will oversee work in the region's district offices in New Orleans, Houma, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Louisiana, and in Lake Jackson, Texas. Inspectors in the district offices are responsible for onsite inspections of offshore oil and gas facilities and infrastructure to ensure operations throughout the GoM region are conducted in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
