BHP Billiton Petroleum has appointed Stephen O'Rourke as president of global exploration. Based in Houston, he will direct the company's worldwide oil and gas exploration activities.

HOUSTON --BHP Billiton Petroleum has appointed Stephen O'Rourke as president of global exploration. Based in Houston, he will direct the company's worldwide oil and gas exploration activities.
O'Rourke was previously VP of development planning and is a graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and the Wharton School's Advanced Management Training Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
