AGR announces executive appointments

OSLO, Norway --AGR Group ASA has made the following executive appointments:

  • Arne Aune, currently executive VP, M & A projects and integration processes, is to become executive VP group functions and deputy CEO of the group. He will have specific responsibilities for mergers and acquisitions, human resources, legal and contracts, public relations, procurement, information technology, office management, and special projects.

  • Johan Møller Warmedal, executive VP for field operations, is to be CEO of AGR Asia Pacific Holdings Pty Ltd. This is to become the focal point of the group's activities in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Åge Landro, managing director of AGR EmiTeam, is appointed executive VP, field operations.

  • Danielle Rowe is to move from AGR Asia Pacific to be the group's M&A and projects manager. Rowe's new position assumes some of the responsibilities currently held by Aune and Per Inge Remmen, executive VP, Special Projects. Remmen is remaining with the group in a consultancy role.

  • Michael Ives is joining as director of corporate affairs, responsible for internal and external communications.

  • Tom Hasler, presently operations director, AGR Subsea, becomes general manager, drilling services for AGR Asia Pacific. Hasler replaces John Dale who is leaving the group.

    All of the appointments will become effective on Aug. 1.

"The changes will give a much sharper focus to the way we operate."
