MCS drives new business in Australia, Southeast Asia

MCS has appointed Dean Hewitt and John Slater to develop its subsea engineering and software business across the Australian and Southeast Asian oil and gas markets.

Galway, Ireland --MCS has appointed Dean Hewitt and John Slater to develop its subsea engineering and software business across the Australian and Southeast Asian oil and gas markets.

Hewitt, who has 15 years experience in the industry, joins MCS after six years with ConocoPhillips in Indonesia, most recently as subsea development manager for the Kerisi project. Based in Perth, he will provide specialist engineering support to subsea projects, with the added responsibility of business development activities throughout Southeast Asia.

Slater brings experience in information system requirements and business solutions. He will develop and expand the company's advanced subsea engineering software, providing products for the global analysis of risers, mooring systems, umbilicals, offloading lines, tethers and pipelines.
