DSI names executive VP

Deepwater Specialists Inc. (DSI), part of the Wood Group, has promoted Trey Lambert to executive vice president. Lambert's new responsibilities include overall business development and overseeing operations.

HOUSTON --Deepwater Specialists Inc. (DSI), part of the Wood Group, has promoted Trey Lambert to executive vice president. Lambert's new responsibilities include overall business development and overseeing operations.

Lambert has been with DSI for over five years, and has been in the oil and gas industry for more than 12 years. His expertise includes electrical and control systems engineering, deepwater oil and gas facility design, construction, commissioning, and facility start-ups. He has served as either an electrical and instrumentation commissioning engineer or commissioning superintendent on four Gulf of Mexico projects for DSI.

Lambert is part of Louisiana's Professional Engineering and Land Surveyor Board as a registered professional engineer in the electrical and control systems disciplines, as well as a member of the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society. He is a Louisiana State University graduate with a BS in electrical engineering.
