Shanks to lead Zenith downhole division

ABERDEEN -- Downhole monitoring and completions specialist Zenith Oilfield Technology has formed a special technology division.

This follows the company’s recent acquisition of Ziebel UK Monitoring Group (a provider of downhole systems, sensors and digital instrumentation.

The new division, to be led by former Ziebel engineering manager David Shanks, will focus on developing technologies to optimize production and maximize reserves in fields worldwide.
