ABERDEEN -- Engineering consultancy Xodus Group has recruited 12 subsea professionals to support its expanding subsea business.

The company has recently branched into conceptual and front-end engineering design, detailed design, project delivery, and subsea operations support.

Graeme Rogerson has been appointed subsea director for Europe. Among the other new recruits is Subsea Manager Frank Smith, previously engineering team leader with MCS for 13 years working in Aberdeen and Houston.

Andrew Wylie has joined as a consultant responsible for developing Xodus’ project delivery capability, providing assurance on critical procurement through the subsea project life-cycle, and supporting umbilical and flexible riser system package management. He also worked previously for MCS as riser delivery manager.

Also new is Matt Kirk, formerly group remote operations manager at Acergy, who joins Xodus as a senior consultant to develop the company’s subsea operational support and integrity management services.
