NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana -- McMoRan Exploration Co. has appointed A. Peyton Bush III and William P. Carmichael to its board of directors.

Bush is president and CEO of Hibernia Homestead Banccorp. Carmichael is a retired executive with more 35 years of experience in finance.
