CNOOC re-shuffles management

Fu Chengyu is to resign from his role of CEO of CNOOC, but will remain as chairman of the board.

HONG KONG -- Fu Chengyu is to resign from his role of CEO of CNOOC, but will remain as chairman of the board.

He will be replaced by Yang Hua, who will also serve as vice-chairman. Yang is currently the company’s president and chief financial officer. Li Fanrong steps up as president of the company. All the changes are effective from Sept. 16.
