McGeehan promoted at Sovereign

ABERDEEN -- Sovereign Oilfield Group has appointed Chris McGeehan as group chief operating officer. His task will be to expand the group’s operations into the Middle East and to identify options for growth through acquisition.

McGeehan joined the company in 2005, following its acquisition of Caledonian Petroleum Services. He has been instrumental in the creation of OIL Middle East, Sovereign’s subsidiary in Abu Dhabi.

Sovereign provides a range of drilling and fabrication services.
