Pemex appoints energy minister, director general

President Enrique Peña Nieto has appointed Pedro Joaquín Coldwell as Ministry of Energy and chairman of the board of directors of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).

MEXICO CITY– President Enrique Peña Nieto has appointed Pedro Joaquín Coldwell as Ministry of Energy and chairman of the board of directors of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex). He succeeds Jordy H. Herrera Flores. 

The company also appointed Emilio Lozoya Austin as director general and chairman of the board of directors of each subsidiary entity. He succeeds Juan José Suárez Coppel.
