Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has appointed Rune Torhaug as managing director for DNV Research and Innovation.

HØVIK, Norway– Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has appointed Rune Torhaug as managing director for DNV Research and Innovation.
Torhaug has a Master of Science in civil engineering from NTNU, a Ph.D. in structural engineering from Stanford University, and more than 20 years of experience in related fields. He has worked internationally with leadership roles in DNV Energy, DNV Maritime, and DNV Business Assurance.
