Baker Hughes appoints chief technology officer

Baker Hughes Inc. (NYSE: BHI) has named Dr. Mario Ruscev as chief technology officer.

HOUSTON – Baker Hughes Inc. (NYSE: BHI) has named Dr. Mario Ruscev as chief technology officer.

He previously served as CEO of Geotech Seismic Services, a Russian seismic company. His career includes more than three decades of technology and operations experience in the oilfield services industry.

Ruscev earned his doctorate in nuclear physics from the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, and his Ph.D. in nuclear physics from Yale University. He is a director of the Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute.
