IRVING, Texas -- ExxonMobil director and senior VP J. Stephen Simon will retire on May 31, 2008, after 40 years of service.

Simon has been a member of the corporation's board of directors since January 2006 and a member of the management committee since December 2004. As senior VP on the management committee, Simon has been responsible for ExxonMobil's petroleum refining and supply and chemicals manufacturing and marketing operations.
