Chevron makes executive appointments

Chevron Energy Technology has appointed Melody Meyer as president, and Louie Ehrlich as president and CIO, effective June 1, 2008.

SAN RAMON, California -- Chevron Energy Technology has appointed Melody Meyer as president, and Louie Ehrlich as president and CIO, effective June 1, 2008. Meyer replaces the retiring Mark Puckett, while Ehrlich replaces the retiring Gary Masada.

"Both these appointments will help ensure Chevron continues to deliver outstanding performance in the development of our global energy portfolio," says John McDonald, Chevron VP and chief technology officer. "Melody's experience in operations and technology application will bring great depth to her role in which she will manage the company's technology services and research and development. Louie brings demonstrated leadership skills and broad information technology experience that spans the full breadth of Chevron's business."
