John W. Morgan, Occidental Petroleum's executive VP and president of Oxy Oil and Gas, Western Hemisphere, has elected to retire after almost 25 years of service with the company.

LOS ANGELES -- John W. Morgan, Occidental Petroleum's executive VP and president of Oxy Oil and Gas, Western Hemisphere, has elected to retire after almost 25 years of service with the company.
Through year-end, Morgan will continue as an Occidental Petroleum Corp. executive VP responsible for special assignments. Occidental organizations currently reporting to Morgan will be realigned within the company and will be the subject of a separate announcement.
