Sensornet appoints COO, VPs

Sensornet has appointed two vice presidents and a COO.

ELSTREE, UK -- Sensornet has appointed two vice presidents and a COO. John Perrin will serve as VP for North and South America. Doug Walker will serve as VP, Asia-Pacific region. Richard Kluth has been promoted from operations director to COO.

Perrin has more than 10 years of experience in the industry, specializing in wireline oilwell logging in open- and cased-hole environments. He most recently worked as a petrophysicist with an international oil services company in Canada.

While Walker originally specialized as a wireline field engineer, he has more than 20 years of experience in his sector. He most recently served as district manager for India and Bangladesh. He has had senior management positions in Abu Dhabi, Norway, Gulf of Mexico, and Vietnam with a global energy services business.

Kluth joined Sensornet in 2003 and has been responsible for a number of the company's developments, including the installation of the world's first fiber-optic inwell distributed temperature sensing system. He is experienced in drilling and reservoir monitoring and has worked in North America, Middle East, and Europe.
