MMS names regional supervisor

Minerals Management Service (MMS) has selected Mike Saucier as the new regional supervisor for field operations.

NEW ORLEANS -- Minerals Management Service (MMS) has selected Mike Saucier as the new regional supervisor for field operations.

Saucier will oversee 170 engineers, geoscientists, technicians, inspectors, and clerical who are responsible for safe and environmentally responsible oil and gas operations throughout the US Gulf of Mexico.

Saucier began his career with the MMS in 1984 as a staff engineer. In 1988, he became the drilling engineer and in 1995, he was promoted to district supervisor, Houma district in the GoM. Most recently, he served as deputy regional supervisor for district operations in the field operations office.
